Finaly, a visual theme customizer.

      The gnome-appearance-properties was a useful little program that let you customize the colours in GTK2 themes  but following the latest "we know better" philosophy of the Gnome developer team, was removed from Gnome3.
It came really handy with theme like Radiance that choose to have gray text on pink background making my eyes hurt after ten minutes of reeding.

      And here we have to thank Satya for coding "GTK Theme Preferences" and lets you customize any GTK2/3 themes working with:
  - background and text colour of the panel
   -selected background colour
   -menu background and font colour
 
      To install in Ubuntu type the following in a terminal(Ctrl-Alt-T):


sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shimmerproject/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gtk-theme-config
